Accountant (F&B) Work from Home

Job Summary

Perform comprehensive accounting functions for F&B operations, including invoice processing, payroll preparation, tax filings, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance while collaborating with outlets and managing documentation efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Enter all invoices and receipts accurately into the accounting system to maintain up-to-date financial records
• Collaborate with outlets to ensure timely submission of daily invoices and related documents for accurate accounting
• Organize and maintain proper filing systems for all accounting documents to support audit readiness and compliance
• Record and apply outgoing and incoming payments accurately into financial systems to ensure correct account balances
• Prepare payroll, calculate overtime, and process incentive payments to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation
• Manage work permit applications and complete statutory filings including IR21 and IR8A forms to comply with regulatory requirements
• Prepare tax computations and file income tax returns accurately to meet statutory deadlines
• Prepare XBRL filings and unaudited financial statements to support financial reporting obligations
• Utilize Xero accounting system effectively to manage accounting tasks and financial data
• Use Microsoft Excel and Word proficiently to support accounting documentation and reporting
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned to support the finance team and business operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 3 years of accounting work experience to ensure proficiency in core accounting functions

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Familiarity with Xero accounting system to enhance efficiency in accounting processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Word, to support financial documentation
