Part-Time Tutor

At League of Learners Academy (LOLA), we believe every student learns differently. Through purposeful, well-structured teaching, we create a supportive and engaging environment where learners of all abilities can reach their full potential.

We are currently looking for a passionate part-time tutor to take on a home tuition assignment (near our centre), ideal for those seeking a consistent weekend teaching role.

What You’ll Be Doing!

• Conduct weekly tuition sessions (1.5 hours per lesson)
• Adapt lesson materials to suit the student’s learning needs (stronger support required for Science)
• Provide clear explanations and build foundational understanding
• Communicate progress updates to parents where necessary
• Create a supportive and engaging learning environment
• Tutors may be considered for centre assignments

Who We Want!

• New or entry-level tutors are welcome
• Available on weekends (morning preferred, afternoon optional)
• Strong in Math and/or Chinese (primary/secondary level), with ability to support basic English
• Friendly, responsible, and able to communicate confidently with both students and parents
