Sales Manager

Job Summary

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by promoting and selling our diverse portfolio of alcoholic beverages to retailers, distributors, restaurants, bars, and other key accounts in your assigned territory. You will focus on meeting sales targets, expanding our customer base, and representing our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients to expand market share within your assigned territory.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets by effectively promoting alcoholic beverage products.
• Build and sustain long-term relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and resolving issues.
• Plan and execute tastings, promotional events, and brand activations to increase product visibility.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and educate clients on product benefits to support sales efforts.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
• Provide actionable feedback to internal teams to align product development and marketing strategies.
• Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and expense reports within deadlines.
• Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions for effective account management.
• Comply with all local laws and regulations governing alcohol sales to ensure legal and ethical operations.
• Promote responsible alcohol consumption during all customer engagements.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in alcohol, beverage, or FMCG sectors
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills demonstrated through client engagement and deal closure
• Effective communication and presentation skills for client education and promotional activities
• Proficiency with CRM tools and sales tracking systems to manage customer data and sales pipeline
