Nurse Manager / Senior (Operating Theatre)

Responsibilities

• Lead the Operating Theatre unit by setting departmental goals and ensuring high standards of nursing care.
• Oversee staff induction, competency assessments, training, recruitment, and career development for the nursing team.
• Monitor and improve patient care quality through nursing evaluations, incident reviews, and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
• Manage manpower planning, duty rosters, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Skills / Experience Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; postgraduate qualification in Perioperative or Perianaesthesia Nursing preferred.
• Registered Nurse with a valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) registration.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar leadership role within an Operating Theatre setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, staff management, and operational planning skills.
• Willing to work a 5-day work week and be on-call when required.
