Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with department heads to identify community needs and develop outreach programs accordingly.

  • Create comprehensive program plans, including objectives, strategies, budgets, and timelines.

  • Execute outreach programs in accordance with established plans.

  • Coordinate logistics, resources, and volunteers for program activities.

  • Ensure that programs are delivered efficiently and within budget.

  • Foster relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders.

  • Engage with community members to gather input and feedback to inform program improvements.

  • Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess program impact.

  • Collect and analyze data to measure program effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.

  • Prepare regular reports on program progress, outcomes, and challenges.

  • Maintain detailed records of program activities and expenditures.

  • Provide training and support to program staff and volunteers.

  • Organize workshops and capacity-building sessions for community members.

  • Ensure programs adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

  • Maintain transparency and accountability in program activities.

Academic or Professional Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Community Development, Sociology, or related disciplines). Master's degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in community development or outreach programs, with at least 3 years in a similar role.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

  • Knowledge of community development principles and best practices.

  • Grant writing and fundraising experience is a plus.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment.

  • Willingness to travel to various community locations as needed.

  • Adaptable to changes, proactive, dynamic, resourceful, creative, collaborative, self-motivated and a strong desire to excel.
