Our client, a global leader in project logistics, is seeking a Technical Specialist to support the planning and execution of heavy lift, oversized, and high-value cargo projects across the region.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of heavy lift and project cargo operations.
- Develop lifting, transportation, stowage and cargo securing plans.
- Prepare CAD drawings, engineering calculations and technical documentation.
- Conduct site visits, route surveys and feasibility assessments.
- Work closely with project, engineering and operations teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company procedures.
- Travel overseas when required to support project execution.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Marine Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 2 years' experience in a Technical Engineer or similar role within project logistics, heavy lift, engineered transport or related industries.
- Proficient in 2D CAD, 3D modelling and structural engineering analysis.
- Experience preparing lifting plans and engineering documentation is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- NEBOSH or equivalent certification is an advantage.
