[1 YR CONTRACT TO PERM] Junior Medical Technologist – Neurology Diagnostic Lab #HZTS

• Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare providers to ensure smooth delivery of patient services
• Perform all neurophysiological and neurosonographical diagnostic tests as requested by doctors
• Conduct preliminary test reporting and record results in the computer system for the doctor-in-charge to vet
• Ensure reports are completed and dispatched to clinics/wards within stipulated timeframes
• Maintain proper filing systems for easy report retrieval
• Practise proper and economical use of consumables and supplies
• Monitor and replenish stock levels of supplies and consumables
• Maintain and demonstrate proper use and care of lab equipment
• Check and calibrate lab equipment and instruments (including emergency equipment) to ensure proper working order
• Maintain service maintenance records for equipment
• Attend to patient feedback and enquiries, performing service recovery where needed
• Handle telephone enquiries and trace results as requested
• Participate in service quality improvement activities and programmes
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by Supervisor(s)
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Biomedical Science
