Chemical Tanker Broker

RightKey Partners is partnering with an established international shipbroking firm to appoint a Chemical Tanker Broker based in Singapore.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced broker to join a well-respected global organisation with a strong presence in the tanker market. You will be responsible for developing commercial relationships, negotiating fixtures, identifying new business opportunities, and providing market intelligence to clients across the chemical tanker sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers and industry stakeholders.
• Source and negotiate spot and period charter opportunities.
• Execute fixtures from negotiation through to recap in collaboration with internal operations teams.
• Monitor market developments and provide timely commercial advice to clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow the broker's client portfolio.
• Work closely with colleagues across the global network to maximise business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of fixtures, market activity and client engagement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in chemical tanker broking.
• Strong knowledge of the global chemical tanker market.
• Established relationships with owners, charterers and market participants are advantageous.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercially driven with strong business development capabilities.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
