Accounts Payable Executive (West / Up to $4k + AWS + VB)

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and ensure timely entry into the accounting system
• Verify invoices against supporting documents and secure proper approvals
• Prepare and execute supplier payments via GIRO, telegraphic transfer, bank transfer, and cheque
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and bank reconciliations
• Resolve invoice and payment discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Support month-end closing activities, including AP reconciliations and accruals
• Assist with GST submissions, audit schedules, and financial reporting
• Maintain organised filing systems and proper accounting documentation
• Provide support for finance administrative duties and ad hoc assignments

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Experience in trading, import, or export industry is an added advantage
