Designer cum Drafter

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare design concepts, space planning and layout proposals for interior fit-out projects.
• Produce detailed 2D drawings, shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Create 3D models and renderings for design presentation and project visualization.
• Handle design development, including materials, finishes, and construction details.
• Revise drawings and designs based on project requirements and site conditions.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, site teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Conduct site visits to take measurements and verify site conditions when required.
• Ensure all drawings and designs comply with project specifications and standards.
• Support the project team with technical drawings, design solutions, and layout planning.
• Assist in resolving design and site coordination issues during project execution.

Requirements

• Experience in Interior Designprojects is required, preferably in commercial, retail, or hotel projects.
• Proficient in CAD software and able to produce 3D drawings and renderings.
• Strong understanding of space planning, technical drawings, and construction detailing.
• Site experience in construction or interior fit-out projects is required.
• Able to develop both design concepts and technical drawings.
• Creative, detail-oriented and able to propose practical design solutions.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• At least 2 years of Singapore-based experience as a Designer cum Drafter in the construction industry.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in interior design, drafting, or construction-related roles.

Working Hours

• 5.5-day work week
• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM –6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
