Engineering Manager (F)***

Responsibilities

• Define engineering vision, strategy, and directions.
• Manage roadmaps for delivering product vision incrementally and efficiently.
• Produce long-term technical plan and roadmap with regular updates to anticipate future product/business needs and infrastructure requirements.
• Engage engineers on their performance, professional growth, offering constructive feedback, mentoring, and guidance.
• Develop quality, reliability, and security strategies.
• Identify and promote worthwhile engineering initiatives.
• Promotes practices and tools that encourage strong engineering culture and effectiveness.
• Build engineering visibility and standards from the ground up across a portfolio of systems and vendors.
• Track engineering capabilities backed by facts
• Define and maturing key pillars such as Infrastructure-as-Code (creation, patching, remediation), CI/CD (build, test, deploy), and compliance posture (audits, VAPT, risk management).
• Leverage leading and lagging metrics such as lead time and deployment frequency to create accountability and drive measurable improvement.
• Assist with recruitment, especially with senior hires.

Requirement

Experience in

• reasonably large, high-availability software systems that have operated at scale.
• modern full-stack web application technologies;
• modern front-end engineering like Next.js/React.js and Java/TypeScript on the backend.
• guiding a team to achieve important goals together.
• coaching developers (at least 2+ years).
