Mobile Engineer (iOS- Swift) – Government Digital Project

We are seeking an iOS Mobile Engineer to support the development and enhancement of a government mobile application serving the Muslim community. You will collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to build secure, reliable, and high-performing native iOS applications that deliver an excellent user experience.

• Working Location: Central
• Salary Package: Up to $11,000 (basic)+ AWS

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift.
• Develop new features and improve existing application functionality.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs and authentication services.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Optimise application performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, debugging, and production support.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with government security, accessibility, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in native iOS development.
• Strong proficiency in Swift.
• Experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
• Experience using Xcode and Apple's development ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API integration.
• Familiarity with MVVM or similar architectural patterns.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of unit testing and UI testing frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering government or public sector mobile applications.
• Familiarity with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC), SHIP-HATS, Digital Service Standards (DSS), and IM8 requirements.
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications on the Apple App Store.
• Knowledge of mobile application security and accessibility standards.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
