We are seeking a results-oriented and highly experienced Financial Controller for group-level financial consolidation and reporting, corporate governance and tax compliance.

Financial Consolidation, Reporting and Corporate Governance

  • Lead the Group’s accounting, consolidation, and reporting functions across local and overseas subsidiaries.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
  • Ensure timely preparation of audited financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Responsible for inter-company management fee calculation and recharges.
  • Maintain robust internal controls, risk management, and governance frameworks.
  • Lead statutory audits.

Taxation & Compliance

  • Oversee tax planning, compliance, and liaison with auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries.
  • Responsible for quarterly GST submissions and annual corporate income tax reporting.
  • Update the Transfer Pricing Documentation annually to ensure relevance.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, internal governance policies, and ACRA requirements.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Supervise and mentor a small finance team to achieve excellence and accountability.
  • Foster collaboration across functions and entities to align financial practices and performance reporting.
  • Champion continuous improvement in systems, processes, and automation.

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant with diploma in Accountancy, Business, or Finance.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in group consolidation, financial control, treasury, tax, and compliance in Singapore. Audit Seniors and Managers from mid/top-tier audit firms with no commercial finance experiences welcomed to apply.
  • Statutory audit experience preferred.
  • Sound technical knowledge of FRS / IFRS, accounting principles and consolidation, governance, and corporate compliance standards.
  • Excellent command of English and proficiency in one other Asian language (to liaise with regional stakeholders).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage senior management.
  • Resilient, resourceful, and analytical—able to operate independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a small team and handle multiple deliverables concurrently.
  • Hands-on experience operating in ERP and using consolidation tool.
  • Immediate availability preferred.
