Primary and Secondary English Teacher

Part-time and full-time positions are available.

Responsibilities

• Teach English to primary and/or secondary school students
• Prepare and conduct engaging, structured lessons
• Help students improve their grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, writing and oral communication skills
• Familiarise students with the MOE syllabus and examination requirements
• Mark students’ work and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Monitor students’ progress and communicate with parents when necessary
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment

Requirements

• Strong command of spoken and written English
• Familiarity with MOE syllabus
• Prior teaching or tuition experience is an advantage
• Patient, responsible and able to communicate well with children and parents
• Able to commit to a regular teaching schedule
• Current or former MOE teachers are especially welcome to apply
