MARBLE POLISHER

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and examine stone surfaces and identify defects or problems that need to be fixed
• Use hand and power tools to grind, polish, and buff surfaces to achieve the desired finish
• Fill and repair cracks and chips in the stone using epoxy or other materials
• Apply sealant to protect the surface from stains and damage
• Move heavy stone slabs using equipment such as forklifts or cranes
• Ensure that all safety procedures are followed while working with potentially dangerous machinery and chemicals
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area to ensure a safe and productive environment
• Communicate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide professional advice and recommendations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a marble and granite polisher
• Familiarity with various polishing tools and techniques
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to use protective equipment
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Flexibility to work weekends or overtime as needed
