Job Description

  • Support the optimization and maintenance of pharmacy information systems to ensure the safe, effective, and efficient use of medications.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy, medical, nursing, and IT teams to design, implement, and enhance electronic prescribing, medication management, and clinical decision support systems.
  • Build, review, and maintain medication formularies, system rules, alerts, and workflows in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and user acceptance testing for new and existing pharmacy-related applications.
  • Conduct user training and provide ongoing support to healthcare professionals on pharmacy information systems.
  • Review and analyse medication-related data to support quality improvement initiatives, medication safety, and operational performance.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and patient care.
  • Participate in digital transformation and health informatics projects, including the implementation and integration of new technologies within the pharmacy and clinical environment.

Requirements

  • Relevant pharmacy qualifications, such as a recognized degree in Pharmacy and eligibility for professional registration or licensure in Singapore.
  • Experience or training in clinical pharmacy practice.
  • Knowledge of health informatics, electronic health records, computerized physician order entry (CPOE), and medication management systems.
  • Able to analyse and interpret medication-related data and prepare reports to support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Experience in user training, stakeholder engagement, or system implementation will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Prior experience in pharmacy informatics, digital transformation, or healthcare IT projects in a hospital setting is an added advantage.
  • Keen to work in a start-up environment
