Trade Finance Manager

Job Summary

Our client, a leading global commodities company, seeks a Trade Finance Manager in Singapore to manage trade finance operations supporting import and export activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of Import and Export Letters of Credit (LC), LC confirmations, discounting, and guarantees to support trading activities
• Review and negotiate LC amendments by analyzing underlying contracts and coordinating with banks and internal stakeholders
• Act as the primary intermediary between operations teams and the bank’s LC functions as well as front-office units to ensure smooth transaction processing
• Monitor and follow up on all documentary processes and payment schedules to ensure timely completion and compliance
• Oversee daily financing needs related to the company’s trading activities, ensuring adequate funding and risk management
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail while managing multiple trade finance tasks in a fast-paced environment

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Trade Finance or Structured Trade Finance within the Oil & Gas industry or banking sector

• Ability to multitask effectively under pressure and maintain accuracy in documentation and negotiation processes
