- Provide advanced (L2/L3) operational support for Azure cloud infrastructure and related services.

- Act as an escalation point for complex incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.

- Monitor and maintain production environments using enterprise monitoring and alerting tools.

- Respond to and resolve incidents, service requests, and alerts within defined SLAs, ensuring minimal downtime.

- Troubleshoot and optimize Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups, Load Balancers, Azure Backup, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.

- Lead and manage patching activities for Windows and Linux environments, ensuring compliance and minimal disruption.

- Perform and oversee routine operational tasks such as system health checks, service restarts, backup validation, and configuration audits.

- Support and implement change, release, and maintenance activities following ITIL best practices.

- Maintain high-quality documentation, including runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.

- Ensure adherence to incident, problem, change, and request management processes.

- Support security, audit, and compliance initiatives, including vulnerability remediation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and service management stakeholders to ensure service excellence.

- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement using tools such as Terraform and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

- 8–10 years of overall IT experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud environments.

- Deep understanding of cloud architecture, networking principles, and security best practices.

- Extensive experience in Windows and Linux system administration.

- Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, infrastructure as code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, and Helm.

- Proven experience in managing enterprise-scale patching and maintenance activities.

- Expertise in troubleshooting complex infrastructure and application issues in cloud environments.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Additional Information

- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent).

- Experience working in a 24/7 enterprise production support environment.

- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service management tools.

- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
