Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret shop drawings, structural drawings, and formwork layout plans
Fabricate and erect formwork/shuttering for columns, beams, slabs, walls, and staircases
Measure, cut, and shape timber, plywood, and steel formwork panels
Install formwork supports, props, and bracing according to engineering specifications
Dismantle and strike formwork after concrete curing, and prepare materials for reuse
Carry out minor repairs and maintenance of formwork panels and carpentry tools
Coordinate with steel fixers, concreters, and other trades to ensure work sequencing
Ensure all work complies with WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) regulations and site safety procedures
Conduct daily checks on tools and equipment before use
Report defects, unsafe conditions, or discrepancies in drawings to supervisor
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
