Job Summary
The incumbent is responsible to manage partners to meet ground needs. He / She will have to identify and bring together key players and diverse stakeholders to have meaningful conversations, adopt impact strategies, design and implement community outreach programme / inclusive community projects to benefit and make an impact to the needs of clients under Enabling Services Hub (ESH) and TOUCH Special Needs Group (TSNG).
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
1. Strategic Partnerships and Stakeholders Engagement
- Develop and implement partnership strategies with community stakeholders to promote community activation and inclusion.
- Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives to expand ESH reach and impact.Champion and co-lead a community of practice with SG Enable, Enabling Business Hub (EBH), and ESH operators across regions to strengthen sector collaboration.
- Facilitate better understanding of the needs and aspirations of Person with Disabilities (PwDs) with corporate and community partners.
- Cultivate long-term and strong relationships with community leaders, grassroot partners, Social Service Agencies (SSAs) to expand the reach and facilitate social change and inclusiveness for PwDs with the community.
- Represent ESH in cross-service initiatives under TOUCH Special Needs Group and across other service clusters.
2. Community Activation, Outreach and Communications
- Oversee and guide the planning of community events, workshops, and communication forums to engage stakeholders and raise awareness.
- Supervise the curation of beneficiary and volunteer stories for engagement and fundraising.
- Work with TOUCH Communication team to curate social media content and any fundraising campaign that will benefit the ESH programme.
- Ensure the effective management of stakeholder databases, communication platforms, and publicity tools.
- Synthesize ground feedback and data insights to inform the strategic direction and design of programmes for PwDs and caregivers.
3. Leadership & Operational Management
- Oversee reporting and documentation in accordance with organisational standards.
- Provide managerial oversight on special projects and ad-hoc collaborations.
- Supervise, mentor and develop team members in community activation work and volunteer management.
- Assist the Head of Service in day to day supervision and coordination of the staff team to ensure effective operations, staff performance and quality programme and service delivery
Working Conditions
- 5 day work week: Mon-Fri (Weekend as and when needed)
- Location: Taman Jurong
Requirements
- Degree holder in any discipline
- At least 5 - 8 years or more of related experience
- Prior experience in community partnership management or working with PwDs will be an added advantage.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Leadership abilities, with experience in coordinating projects and driving initiatives to achieve desire outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and people management skills.
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed, and willingness to travel locally for meetings, events and outreach activities.
- Adept at Microsoft Office
