Position: Locum Case Manager, (Health and Wellbeing)

The University Counselling Services is responsible for the innovation, implementation and evaluation of health & wellbeing programmes which support the general student population, as well as specific students who are exposed to acute mentally-stressful events. As a Locum Case Manager, you will provide case management support to individual students and work with departmental leaders to enhance students’ health and wellbeing. You will work with a team that is dynamic, fun,and most of all, passionate about supporting the health and wellbeing of our people.

Candidates should have a background in case management, nursing, psychology or social work (or relevant psychological professional training).

Join us to be a part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing: -

- case management

- crisis management and interventions

- - triaging service : conducting mental health and need screening of a student, psycho-educate

and inform students of the various mental health services within the University, and direct/refer the student to the resources accordingly

- advocating for student’s mental health

Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or nursing

- Able to work with students and staff of culturally diverse backgrounds

- Able to collaborate and work in a team

- Able to conduct risk assessment and provide the necessary support and intervention

- Able to coordinate and manage the caseload of complex and potentially at risk- clients

- Good interpersonal and communication skills, including capacity to liaise with internal and external stakeholders

- Good command of written and spoken Language

- Available to commit at least 2 full days a week

- At least 3 yrs experience working within a mental health or community case management setting will be an advantage.
