Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities
• Engage stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements across multiple applications and system integrations.
• Analyse clients' business needs, define project scope, and develop business cases to recommend suitable solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and progress meetings with stakeholders to align business objectives and project deliverables.
• Document functional and non-functional requirements, evaluate solution alternatives, and recommend the most suitable approach.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, developers, and solution architects to validate solution designs and obtain stakeholder acceptance.
• Prepare business process flows, user stories, use cases, wireframes, prototypes, data flows, and functional specifications.
• Support the development and delivery of enterprise software applications by working closely with Product Owners, Functional Managers, and development teams.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment activities, change management, and user adoption.
• Analyse service requests, assess enhancement impacts, troubleshoot issues, and recommend long-term improvements to prevent recurring incidents.
• Prepare project documentation, technical specifications, reports, and presentation materials.
• Ensure solutions comply with IT governance, cybersecurity, quality management, and applicable government policies such as IM8.
• Collaborate with product owners, users, operations teams, cybersecurity stakeholders, and third-party vendors to deliver secure, scalable, and business-focused solutions.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in business analysis, system solution design, and enterprise application delivery.
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and product management principles.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, process mapping, workflow design, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Experience designing workflow-based enterprise solutions involving dynamic case management, system integrations, payment and accounting modules, reporting, batch processing, authentication, and external API integrations.
• Experience working with cloud-based applications and integrating enterprise systems.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience with Tungsten Automation platforms and/or the Decisions platform will be a strong advantage, as these are the primary technologies used in our application environment.
• Experience delivering at least one end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) project will be an added advantage.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
- Agile software development methodologies.
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), including Singapore Government SHIP/HATS environments.
- Cloud platforms such as AWS or Government Commercial Cloud (GCC).
- Data migration and document migration projects.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile environment.
