About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Payroll Senior Executive / Executive to manage end-to-end payroll operations and support payroll compliance, government claims, and HR administration. The ideal candidate should have hands-on payroll experience, strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation, and be comfortable working with HRIS systems.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

  • Process monthly payroll by consolidating payroll-related information, including overtime, salary adjustments, referral incentives, foreign worker levy, and other payroll components using Unit4 HRIS.
  • Maintain and update payroll records to ensure accurate payroll reports, journals, management reports, and HR metrics.
  • Verify employee records and headcount accuracy before each payroll cycle.
  • Support month-end payroll closing and reconcile payroll discrepancies.

Government Claims & Statutory Compliance

  • Prepare and submit government salary support grants with the required supporting documentation.
  • Submit quarterly Ministry of Manpower (MOM) surveys.
  • Process government claims, including NS Make-Up Pay and Government-Paid Leave Schemes via the relevant online portals.
  • Process SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) grant submissions through the SkillsConnect Portal.
  • Keep up to date with Singapore employment legislation, statutory requirements, and payroll regulations.

Reporting & Audit

  • Support annual payroll and employee database audits.
  • Prepare payroll-related reports and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Assist in managing staff notice-in-lieu claims, including cases involving TAFEP or the Small Claims Tribunal, ensuring proper tracking and closure.

General HR Support

  • Perform other payroll and HR-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in payroll administration.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems; experience with Unit4 will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of Singapore Employment Act, MOM regulations, CPF, and statutory payroll requirements.
