Finance Manager (Tuas based)

Our client is a fast-growing environmental services company operating within the e-waste recycling and circular economy sector. With expanding operations across the region, they are seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, business partnering, and strategic planning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full spectrum of finance functions including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and statutory compliance.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and provide financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Partner closely with operations, procurement, and commercial teams to monitor profitability, cost controls, and business performance.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investments, expansion plans, and operational initiatives.
- Manage annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and performance reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, audit requirements, and internal controls.
- Oversee working capital management, treasury activities, and banking relationships.
- Support senior management with strategic planning, business growth initiatives, and process improvement projects.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities where required.
- Mentor and develop junior finance team members.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably within industrial, manufacturing, recycling, waste management, environmental services, or asset-heavy businesses.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management accounting.
- Experience in ERP systems and advanced Excel financial modelling.
- Commercially astute with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
