Customer Service Executive - Airfreight

About the Role
Join a dynamic global logistics environment where you will play a key role in managing cross-border shipments and purchase orders. This role offers exposure to international coordination, end-to-end shipment handling, and customer relationship management within the fast-paced freight forwarding industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate closely with overseas offices to ensure smooth shipment execution
- Manage cross trade shipments and Purchase Order (PO) processes from start to completion
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and provide timely shipment updates
- Verify shipping documents (AWB/BL) and ensure compliance with regulations
- Monitor shipment profitability, validate rates, and ensure accurate billing
- Investigate service issues and propose corrective actions
- Track shipments, provide flight/vessel updates, and ensure on-time delivery
- Prepare reports and participate in customer meetings
- Ensure compliance with customer SOPs, operational procedures, and QHSE standards
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in freight forwarding
- Knowledge of sea freight is required; air freight experience is an added advantage
- Familiar with shipping documents and Incoterms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
