Product Manager

Salary: $6,500

Location: Changi, Singapore

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (or 9:00am – 6:00pm)

About the Role

We are seeking a Product Manager to oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept development and material selection to product launch and post-launch performance monitoring. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to develop products that meet customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Management

• Lead product development projects from concept through commercialization and market launch.
• Define product specifications, including materials, construction, performance, durability, and design requirements.
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps and launch timelines.
• Coordinate product testing, evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Market Research & Analysis

• Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, customer preferences, and competitive products.
• Analyse market opportunities and recommend product enhancements or new product concepts.
• Translate customer insights into actionable product strategies and specifications.

Supplier & Vendor Management

• Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure product quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Support supplier evaluation, product sourcing, and quality assurance activities.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve product-related issues when required.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other stakeholders to support product launches and commercialisation plans.
• Develop product positioning, key selling points, and go-to-market strategies.
• Support training and product knowledge initiatives for internal teams.

Product Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor product performance and customer feedback.
• Identify opportunities for product enhancements and cost optimisation.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for management review.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Product Design, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, product development, product design, or a related function.
• Experience in bedding, home furnishing, consumer products, or related industries will be advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of product development processes and product lifecycle management.
• Ability to translate customer needs and market insights into commercially viable products.
• Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and quality.
• Experience with CAD software, prototyping tools, material testing, or product specification systems will be advantageous.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
• Willingness to travel when required for business purposes.
