Production Support Specialist (Trade Desk)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Trade Desk Specialist to join a fast-paced trading operations environment in Singapore. This role will play a critical part in supporting real-time trading platforms, market data services, and global trading operations as part of the company’s follow-the-sun support model.

Based in Singapore, you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting trading systems, handling production incidents, managing operational escalations, and ensuring seamless platform availability for internal and external stakeholders across APAC, EMEA, and US regions.

You will work closely with global Engineering, Infrastructure, Network, SRE, and Product teams to support mission-critical trading environments and ensure operational excellence across low-latency trading platforms.

This role requires strong hands-on production support experience, excellent incident management capabilities, and the ability to make real-time decisions in a highly dynamic trading environment.

Due to global coverage requirements, working hours may occasionally shift to support overlapping regional coverage, including some early morning schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Trading Platform & Production Support

  • Monitor and support real-time trading platforms and market data systems
  • Troubleshoot production incidents, system alerts, and platform issues within SLA timelines
  • Support order management workflows, trade investigations, and trading-related operational queries
  • Perform platform health checks, system monitoring, and operational readiness activities
  • Act as a key escalation point during APAC trading hours

Incident Management & Operational Support

  • Manage and coordinate production incidents across trading and infrastructure environments
  • Perform issue triaging, escalation management, and stakeholder communication during outages or incidents
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Network teams for issue resolution
  • Support root cause analysis and post-incident reviews
  • Drive continuous operational improvements to improve platform stability and reliability

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with global Operations and Engineering teams to ensure smooth handovers across regions
  • Support deployment activities, release management, and disaster recovery exercises
  • Collaborate with Product and Development teams on operational readiness and platform enhancements
  • Provide timely updates to internal stakeholders and external clients during production events

Operational Governance & Support

  • Ensure operational procedures and support processes are followed consistently
  • Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and incident records
  • Support audit, compliance, and operational governance requirements
  • Contribute to process automation and operational efficiency initiatives

Requirements

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Trading Operations, Trade Desk Support, Production Support, or Financial Services Operations
  • Strong experience supporting trading platforms, exchange systems, or capital markets environments
  • Proven experience in incident management and production support within mission-critical environments
  • Experience working in global support or follow-the-sun operational models is highly preferred

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of SQL and UNIX/Linux environments
  • Experience troubleshooting production and platform-related issues
  • Familiarity with APIs, FIX connectivity, market data systems, and low-latency trading environments is highly preferred
  • Understanding of monitoring tools, alerting systems, and operational support workflows
  • Exposure to Agile delivery environments is advantageous
