Shipping Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers for technical products, systems, and office equipment
• Manage daily purchasing activities and negotiate pricing with suppliers
• Maintain and regularly update the Approved Vendor List
• Plan and execute material purchases to meet customer demand and production schedules
• Follow up with suppliers and forwarding agents to ensure timely and smooth delivery
• Process and maintain procurement documentation (POs, invoices, acknowledgements)
• Handle and manage all import and export documentation and procedures
• Coordinate and oversee shipment processes, including Letter of Credit (LC) shipments
• Liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure order fulfilment and resolve shipping matters
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and legal requirements
• Coordinate with internal teams such as production and warehouse on cargo readiness
• Monitor shipment status and communicate with suppliers, agents, and customers
• Review and track freight invoices to ensure cost competitiveness
• Support additional ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics planning and shipping documentation within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of import/export processes, Incoterms, and Free Trade Agreements (Form D/E)
• Proven experience handling shipment coordination, including LC shipments
