Sales / Account Manager – Employee Benefits
We are looking for a proactive and client-focused Sales /Account Manager to join our Employee Benefits team. The ideal candidate will beresponsible for managing corporate client relationships, driving new businessopportunities, and delivering tailored employee benefits solutions to clients.
Candidates should possess strong stakeholder managementskills, a consultative sales approach, and at least 5 years of managerialexperience. Candidate should also be able to handle corporate/B2B clientsconfidently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients for employee benefits solutions
- Drive new business development and sales activities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HR, business leaders, and key decision makers
- Understand clients’ workforce and benefits needs, and propose suitable solutions
- Conduct presentations and discussions with corporate stakeholders
- Lead renewal discussions, negotiations, and account servicing activities
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including underwriting, operations, and claims
- Lead and mentor junior team members to drive performance and service excellence
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business updates
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related discipline
Minimum 5 years of managerial / leadership experience
Prior experience in employee benefits, group insurance, corporate insurance, or B2B insurance sales preferred
Able to manage and engage corporate/B2B clients confidently
Strong client management and business development skills
Proven track record in achieving sales targets and growing client accounts
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Relevant insurance certifications / licenses preferred
