Field Service Engineer (Precision Equipment)

Key Duties

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade equipment at customer sites
• Support machine setup, servicing, modification, and technical troubleshooting
• Provide onsite technical support for local and overseas customers
• Diagnose electronic and mechanical equipment issues and perform corrective actions
• Prepare technical reports and service documentation
• Attend weekly meetings and technical presentations
• Support spare parts inventory control and record keeping
• Handle service tools and jigs during maintenance activities
• Assist Senior Engineers in higher-level technical assignments
• Perform ad-hoc delivery and operational support duties when required
• Ensure service quality and customer satisfaction at all times

Requirements

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Microelectronics Engineering
• Willing to travel overseas when required
• Good troubleshooting and repair skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Cleanroom working experience is advantageous but not mandatory
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
