Field Service Engineer (Semicond Equipment)

Key Duties

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade semiconductor equipment
• Provide technical support and servicing at customer sites and semiconductor fabs
• Diagnose equipment faults and perform electronic and mechanical troubleshooting
• Support machine setup, modification, calibration, and preventive maintenance activities
• Assist Senior Engineers in higher-level technical work including robot teaching and sub-unit servicing
• Prepare technical reports, service documentation, and maintenance records
• Attend weekly meetings, technical discussions, and presentations
• Handle specific jigs and tools during servicing activities
• Support customers to ensure smooth equipment operation and high service standards
• Perform 24x7 standby duties based on roster assignments
• Support ad-hoc shift work and delivery duties when required
• Work closely with team members and customers to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Microelectronics Engineering
• Candidates with ITE qualifications and relevant experience may also be considered
• Experience in cleanroom or semiconductor environment is an advantage
• Knowledge in machine installation, servicing, troubleshooting, repair, and modification preferred
• Willing to travel occasionally for work assignments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication, documentation, and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Able to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
• Positive attitude with willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
