IT Systems Project Engineer (VMware)

Job Overview

We are seeking an IT Systems Project Engineer specializing in virtualization and servers. You will design, deliver, and migrate infrastructure solutions for our enterprise clients. This role focuses heavily on VMware/Hyper-V technologies within a fast-paced systems integrator environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable server solutions including cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform to meet business requirements.
• Implement and manage server configurations, performance tuning, and monitoring of server environments, both physical and virtual.
• Troubleshooting server-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Document server architecture, configurations, and maintenance procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users and other staff.

Required Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in server engineering or system administration with VMware/Hyper-V and Windows server systems.
• Proven experience with cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) including provisioning and managing virtual servers.
• Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, etc.).
• Willingness to travel to various locations in Singapore to support client's projects on-site.
