Job Summary

Join Orbit Marine Engineering Pte Ltd as an Electrical, Automation & Pneumatic Manager to lead marine electrical and automation system projects, supervise technical teams, and ensure safe, efficient vessel operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot marine electrical systems to ensure operational reliability and safety
• Operate and maintain automation systems including PLC, HMI, VFD, and SCADA for vessel and equipment control
• Supervise pneumatic and electro-pneumatic systems to maintain optimal performance and safety standards
• Lead project execution, maintenance, and commissioning activities to deliver timely and quality engineering solutions
• Support onboard vessel repair and technical operations by coordinating resources and resolving technical issues
• Manage and develop technicians while enforcing compliance with safety protocols and regulations

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Automation, Marine, or related Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in marine electrical and automation systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and automation systems within marine environments
• Knowledge of PLC, motor control, pneumatic systems, and marine equipment
• Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in marine or offshore engineering environments
