Location: NewMan Optics (Bedok)

Work Schedule: 5-day work week | Sundays & Public Holidays OFF

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: SGD $2,800 – $3,300/month (Provisional license holder)

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and motivated optometrist to join our growing team. For provisional licensed Optometrist, under the supervision of a fully licensed optometrist, you'll gain hands-on clinical experience while preparing for full registration with the Optometrists & Opticians Board (OOB).

Our clinic focuses on comprehensive primary eye care, myopia management, specialty contact lenses and functional vision care. We work closely with both children and adults, including patients with reading, learning and visual comfort concerns.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations.
• Perform refraction and binocular vision assessments.
• Manage myopia progression using spectacle lenses, contact lenses and orthokeratology
• Fit specialty contact lenses including RGP and orthokeratology lenses
• Provide patient education and management plans
• Assist with children’s vision assessments and visual function care/vision therapy
• Maintain proper clinical records and follow-up care
• Work closely with the team to provide high-quality patient experience
• Assist with refraction, contact lens fittings, and patient education.
• For optometrist on provisional license, work closely with a senior optometrist and receive mentorship toward full licensure.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
• Assist with the operation in retail practice

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Optometry (recognized by OOB, Singapore).
• Strong interest in developing clinical skills and patient interaction.
• Professional attitude, eagerness to learn, and good communication skills.
• Patient, responsible and willing to learn
• Comfortable working with children and families
• Able to work on Saturdays
