About Our Client

Our client is a global leading NBFI with a strong and growing presence across wealth management and asset management in Asia. As part of its continued growth and strategic expansion, the organisation is looking to appoint a Head of Strategy to drive key strategic initiatives across the platform.

This is a high-impact role working closely with senior leadership to shape growth strategy, evaluate new business opportunities, and support strategic partnerships, including M&A and joint ventures across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives with group office across the regions

• Partner closely with senior stakeholders to define growth priorities and drive business expansion across regional markets

• Evaluate and execute strategic opportunities, including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships

• Conduct market assessments, competitive analysis, and financial modelling to support strategic decision-making

• Drive end-to-end execution of key projects, from strategy formulation through to implementation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across business, finance, and product functions to ensure alignment and delivery of strategic outcomes

• Support senior management in preparing strategic materials, business cases, and board-level presentations

Requirements

• 12–18 years of experience in strategy, corporate development, or consulting, ideally with exposure to financial services

• Open to candidates from top-tier consulting firms with experience across wealth management, asset management, or banking projects

• Strong experience in strategy development, with exposure to M&A, joint ventures, or strategic partnerships

• Good understanding of wealth management or asset management business models

• Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities, with the ability to structure complex problems

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging senior leadership

• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution
