Full stack Software Developer (Java)

Responsibilities

• Implement frontend refactoring of application modules from JSF using RichFaces to JSF using PrimeFaces.
• Implement backend refactoring of application modules from JBoss Seam using Java 6 to Spring MVC (or Java CDI) using Java 8.
• Implement secure coding practices and integrate with IAMS for authentication and MFA.
• Ensure modular, scalable, and maintainable codebase modules.
• Optimize performance and reliability of batch jobs and web services.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Maintain integration with IBM FileNet, IBM WebSphere Application Server, Oracle SQL Database, SAP Crystal Reports, and IAMS.
• Handle error and exception management across client-side, server-side, and middleware layers.
• Support UAT, performance testing, and security assessments.
• Ensure seamless operation across DEV, UAT, and PROD environments.
• Collaborate on data migration strategies for FileNet and Oracle databases
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant fields of study

Min. 3 years of experience in Full Stack Development based off Java
