Network Engineer

Investment Company of the People’s Republic of China (Singapore) Pte Ltd is a fully owned subsidiary of the People’s Bank of China, which acts as the Central Bank in the People’s Republic of China. The company manages a part of foreign exchange reserve within the scope authorized by the People’s Bank of China, undertakes and transacts various kinds of investment businesses.

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to manage on-premise network infrastructure. This role focuses on network security, threat prevention, and high availability, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) of business systems.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in routing, switching, firewalls, and secure network design, and is comfortable working in security-sensitive environments.

Network Security Operations & Troubleshooting

• Configure, monitor, and manage firewalls and network security devices.
• Configure and maintain ACLs, NAT, IPS/IDS and security policies.
• Support monitoring network traffic and logs to detect suspicious or malicious activities.
• Support monitoring network performance, availability, and security posture.
• Perform firmware upgrades, patching, configuration backups, and disaster recovery.
• Respond to and troubleshoot network and security incidents.

Support & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with security standards and internal policies.
• Maintain network diagrams, documentation and SOPs.
• Support security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Experienced in network engineering and firewall management
• Basic scripting skills for automation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
