Partner / Counsel, Infrastructure Project Development (CL-OC-27)

International Law Firm | Singapore

We are acting for a leading international law firm that is looking to strengthen its Infrastructure practice in Singapore.

The firm is interested in speaking with an established Partner, or a technically strong Counsel / Senior Associate with a credible runway towards partnership. The focus of the role is project development, advising on the structuring, contracting and delivery of major infrastructure, energy, renewables, digital infrastructure, transport and related projects across Singapore and the wider region.

The successful candidate will advise sponsors, developers, investors, infrastructure funds, strategic corporates and government-linked entities on complex development-side infrastructure matters. The work will cover project structuring, procurement strategy, concession and development agreements, EPC and O&M arrangements, offtake and supply contracts, joint venture structures, strategic investment arrangements, permitting, regulatory issues, construction risk, operational risk and cross-border stakeholder management.

The ideal candidate will be a polished and commercially astute projects lawyer with strong experience in infrastructure or energy-related project development. Strong training from a leading international or top-tier domestic firm, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, sound commercial judgement and credibility with sophisticated clients will be important.
