Key Responsibilities

· Develop and implement category strategies for PCB and Discrete components to achieve business targets.

· Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to ensure quality, cost, and delivery objectives are met.

· Analyze market trends and data to inform sourcing decisions and mitigate risks.

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align category plans with product development and operational needs.

· Lead cost reduction initiatives, value engineering projects, and continuous improvement efforts within the category.

· Monitor and report on category performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior leadership.

· Design and lead a responsive, agile and efficient team that has the ability to:

Ø Meet the changing and diverse needs of customers

Ø Enhance capability of supplier management to impact wider business objectives,

Ø Deliver high-quality products with short lead times at low cost,

Ø Demonstrate the knowledge and experience in Lean approach

Ø Effectively build strategic supplier partnerships

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.

· Minimum 15 years of experience in category management, procurement, or supply chain, with a focus on PCB and Discrete components.

· Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.

· Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex supplier relationships.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
