Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee all quality assurance and control processes across our construction projects. You will ensure workmanship, materials, and processes meet contractual specs, building codes, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control plans for all construction projects
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor workmanship, materials, and compliance with drawings/specs
• Identify non-conformances, defects, and implement corrective/preventive actions
• Review material submissions, method statements, and test reports for approval
• Liaise with consultants, architects, and authorities for inspections and approvals
• Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are understood and followed
• Manage documentation including inspection checklists, NCRs, ITPs, and QA/QC reports
• Conduct quality training and toolbox talks for site staff and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, BCA CONQUAS, and other relevant quality standards
• Investigate quality-related complaints and recommend improvements

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC within the construction industry in Singapore
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and BCA regulations
• Familiar with ISO 9001, CONQUAS, and quality audit processes
• Certified Quality Engineer/Manager or similar certification is an advantage
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Strong communication and leadership skills to enforce quality standards on site
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects
