Job Title: Part-Time Accountant

Salary: S$300 per day

Work Schedule: 3 days per week

We are a fast growing and profitable EdTech company dedicated to providing innovative educational solutions. Our team is dynamic and collaborative, working towards creating impactful products for children. We are looking for a dedicated part-time Accountant to join our team and support our finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Ensure timely and accurate financial month end closing (full sets) with management schedules and reconciliations

· Maintain proper internal financial records including but not limited to cash book, sales and payment transactions

· Support tax matters, including quarterly GST filing, annual income tax filing, and any applicable withholding tax

· Support yearly statutory audits and ensure timely close of audit to meet statutory reporting deadlines

· AR (invoice issuance, payment monitoring)

· AP (ensure vendors' invoices are kept as part of proper record, verification and preparation of payments)

· Weekly sales transactions audit

· Verification and processing of staff claims

· Collaborate with other teams to support operations (e.g. process customers' refunds)

· Complete ad hoc projects and tasks, as assigned

Requirements

• Degree in accounting / ACCA
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace apps
• Familiarity with Xero accounting software is advantageous
• Eagerness to embrace the dynamism of a startup and constantly seek improvement
• Self-motivated, meticulous, independent worker with can-do attitude
