Assistant Sales Manager|Marine Engineering

Work Location: Tuas area

Work Hour: 8am or 8.30am start time (flexible task completion)

Salary: Basic up to $6,500 + commissions + variable bonus + petrol card

Job Description

• Provide technical sales support for marine turbocharger maintenance and repair services
• Prepare technical presentations, proposals and cost estimates for clients
• Build and maintain relationships with ship owners and marine industry clients
• Conduct client visits and meetings to identify new business opportunities
• Support tender preparation and contract negotiations to achieve sales targets
• Coordinate with engineering teams to design solutions for client needs
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities in marine industry
• Ensure smooth project handover and execution with operations team
• Maintain accurate sales records and reports in CRM system
• Handle technical and commercial queries from existing and potential clients

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
• 3 years' experience in technical sales, preferably marine turbocharger or marine engineering services
• Strong knowledge of marine propulsion systems and turbochargers from major brands
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and client relationship management
• Willing to travel locally and internationally as required
