Marine Automation Technician

An international marine company located near Commonwealth MRT is seeking a Marine Automation Technician on permanent position. Applicant must have experience on Electrical and Control System (Please highlight in BOLD in your CV during submission). Monthly salary is S$ 4000 - 4800 depending on relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair of automation machinery on board vessels
• Perform diagnostic checks on automated system
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of navigational equipment
• Carry out system software checks and update on ship management system.
• Conduct software troubleshooting on ship management system
• Monitor project progress and maintain project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with relevant government regulations and the company’s QHSE policies.
• Interpret electronic, PLC ladder and system functional diagrams

Requirements

• Knowledge and skills in Electronics/Electrical
• Experience in marine navigational or electronic system will be an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site and to commute to both the Eastern and Western Regions of Singapore to support operations as required.
• Willingness to work in the shipyard environment and undergo security checks.
