• Working Hours: 5 Days
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + VB
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the core curriculum: English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, ensuring all learning outcomes are met for your grade.
• Work with colleagues to create Unit Planners (before, during, and after the unit) and ensure all unit documents and student work samples are organized and maintained.
• Participate in and lead weekly planning meetings with grade-level teachers and specialists to ensure the curriculum is aligned.
• Take responsibility for the social-emotional well-being of your homeroom students, and teach PSPE (Personal, Social, and Physical Education) and Drama/Theatre Arts.
• Act as the main communication link between the school and home. This includes sending UOI (Unit of Inquiry) letters, contributing to newsletters, and conducting Parent-Teacher and Student-Led Conferences.
• Conduct assessments (formative and summative) to guide lesson planning. Write two comprehensive reports per year.
• Prepare for unit assemblies, the annual PYP Exhibition, coordinate one school-wide event, and lead one Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) per week.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field; professional teaching certification (PGDE/B.Ed) is preferred.
• Experience or strong knowledge of the IB PYP and Inquiry-Based Learning is preferred.
• Ability to use Differentiated Instruction to meet the diverse needs of students in your classroom.
• A team player who can mentor others and reflect on their own teaching practice to meet career goals.
• Strong organizational skills to manage the administrative tasks of a homeroom (reporting, planning, and documentation) with quality and timeliness.
