Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager (Defence Electronics Systems)

About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager to support the delivery of electronic systems, modules, and subsystems across their full lifecycle.

You will play a key role in project execution, logistics planning, sustainment, and post-delivery support, working closely with internal teams, partners, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and long-term operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of electronic systems / subsystem projects, including scheduling, deliverables tracking, risk management, and contract compliance
• Contribute to Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and sustainment planning, including maintenance concepts and spares planning
• Support establishment of in-country repair and maintenance capabilities for long-term system support
• Coordinate supply management activities with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Provide post-delivery customer support, resolving logistics and technical issues
• Prepare project updates, review materials, and support customer engagements
• Apply technical understanding of naval, defence, or complex electronic systems to support project decision-making and sustainment planning
• Support multiple assigned projects as required

Requirements

• Experience in project or programme management within defence, aerospace, naval, land systems, or complex engineering environments
• Understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and maintenance concepts
• Familiarity with supply chain, logistics coordination, and post-delivery support
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across cross-functional local and overseas teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience in complex electronic systems or mission-critical engineering environments is advantageous
