Business Analyst (IFRS)

Our client is a Manufacturing Industry. They are looking for a Business Analyst to assist their team for the next phrase of their business. They are located at Central of Singapore– easily accessible.

Responsibility

Accounting & Reporting

• Manage reporting timelines and ensure timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to regional and group stakeholders.
• Prepare and analyse key financial reports including sales, forecast, margin, procurement, overheads, inventory ageing, and accounts receivable ageing.
• Ensure accuracy of financial consolidation reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, lease accounting (IFRS 16), and internal control documentation.
• Support year-end closing activities and other ad-hoc finance-related tasks as required.

Budgeting & Long-Term Planning

• Support annual budgeting activities, including consolidation, template preparation, and submission to planning systems.
• Maintain and update long-term planning data within corporate planning tools.
• Prepare financial reports and analysis to support planning and decision-making requirements.

Costing

• Develop understanding of standard costing and manufacturing/plant reporting to provide backup support for costing analysis activities.

Others

• Maintain general ledger master data and support ERP system updates and maintenance.
• Assist in dashboard and reporting tool development (e.g., BI tools) and coordinate with corporate finance on consolidation reporting requirements.
• Support market share reporting, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional finance projects.

Requirement

• Strong accounting knowledge with experience in IFRS reporting and application.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM); experience with M3 and Power BI will be an advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a strong interest in automation, data analytics, AI tools, and process improvement initiatives.
