Application Engineer (Mechanical)

Our client is a MNC, one of the leading players in the automation machinery sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Application Engineer to be part of their Engineering team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the east - easily accessible.

The Application Engineer's responsible is:

• Review customer RFQs, technical drawings, and specifications to develop automation and assembly machine concepts.
• Work closely with Sales and Engineering teams to define customer requirements and propose suitable automation solutions.
• Prepare machine concepts, AutoCAD layouts, 3D models, cost estimations, and technical proposals for customers.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers on technical clarifications, equipment selection, and pricing.
• Support customer presentations, sales discussions, and proposal reviews by providing technical expertise.
• Handover awarded projects to Operations and provide technical support throughout project execution.
• Maintain proposal documentation and contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Applications Engineering team.

• Min Diploma in Mechanical Engineering related discipline
• Min 3 years of application engineer experience with mechanical focus
• Experience in factory automation or machine assembly
