General Manager

Lead the overall operations, strategic direction and profitability of the manufacturing facility in Indonesia. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring production efficiency, maintaining quality standards and delivering orders on time while fostering a high-performance and compliant workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end factory operations, ensuring smooth production flow from cutting to packing and achieving daily production targets and shipment schedules.
• Drive operational efficiency by optimizing production capacity, implementing lean manufacturing practices, reducing waste and controlling manufacturing costs.
• Ensure consistent product quality by maintaining high garment standards, minimizing alteration and repair costs and meeting buyer compliance requirements.
• Develop and execute strategic factory plans, including production forecasting, material planning, and machinery utilization.
• Provide strong leadership and direction to production managers, supervisors, and department heads through KPI management, coaching, and performance development.
• Coordinate closely with the merchandising and marketing teams regarding order progress, costing, production planning and capacity allocation.
• Ensure full compliance with labour regulations, workplace safety standards and customer audit requirements.
• Oversee factory financial planning, budgeting and cost control across all departments to support profitability goals.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in apparel manufacturing and 5 years in a senior management position.
• Proven experience in factory or manufacturing leadership within the garment or apparel industry.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, lean manufacturing, quality management, and compliance standards.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with experience managing large operational teams.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and operational costs effectively.
• Willing to be based in Indonesia.
