Early Childhood English Teacher

Catholic Kindergarten is dedicated to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. We believe that early childhood education lays the foundation for lifelong learning, and we are looking for a passionate and creative Early Childhood English Teacher to join our team.

Position Overview

As an Early Childhood English Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a dynamic curriculum that promotes holistic development for young learners according to EYDF/NEL. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to explore their creativity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans focused on Values, Social Development and Learning Disposition, through English language & literacy, Numeracy, Discovery of the world, Motor skills, Aesthetic & Creative Expression.
• Foster a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
• Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles.
• Assess and monitor student's progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the educational experience.
• Maintain a safe and organised classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education, English.
• Experience working with young children, in an early childhood setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for teaching and nurturing young learners.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans and learning environment.
