We are a Singapore-based educational publishing company specialising in high-quality assessment books for primary and secondary students. We are seeking a meticulous, organised, and proactive Book Production Assistant to support our editorial and production team in delivering accurate, engaging, and curriculum-aligned educational materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and support the full production process of assessment books, from manuscript preparation to final print production.
• Liaise closely with editors, designers, typesetters, printers, and external vendors to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
• Assist in proofreading, layout checks, and content formatting to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Manage production schedules, monitor project progress, and follow up on deadlines.
• Prepare, organise, and maintain production files, documentation, and administrative records.
• Handle ad hoc administrative and production-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience in publishing, print production, or administrative coordination will be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Good command of English, with proofreading skills preferred.
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Ability to multitask, work under tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects effectively.
• A collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
